Tennis star Nick Kyrgios had a quick clothing change at the Australian Open after complaining the white shorts he was wearing were 'too small.'
The Australian was playing Pablo Cuevas on Wednesday night in Melbourne, when he began to mutter under his breath that his shorts were becoming a problem and the central umpire allowed him to briefly go and change.
Kyrgios's new black shorts were dubbed a 'magic trick' by commentator Jim Courier after his first serve percentage instantly improved and he went on to win the match.

The commentators speculated the pocket in the white shorts was not cut correctly, causing Kyrgios to struggle to hold multiple tennis balls
'Maybe he had underwear on that was coming through,' one of the commentators suggested.
'He went from tanking the last return game to a blow out service game there on the positive side. So whatever just happened beside the shorts also worked mentally for Kyrgios.'
Social media were quick to comment on the clothing change, likening the tennis star to Veruca Salt from Willy Wonka who is known for throwing tantrums over material objects.
'I want new shorts and I want them now! #AusOpen' One woman wrote alongside a picture of the little girl at 'hissy fit level.'
Other Twitter users were just happy Kyrgios had changed at all, dubbing his entire outfit 'ugly and useless'.
'Comms speculating Kyrgios is upset b/c pockets in his shorts are uncomfortable when stuffed w a ball, ie, that outfit is UGLY AND USELESS!' one woman wrote.
