The first One Direction baby has been born – and he’s “Perfect.”
Louis Tomlinson and Briana Jungwirth welcomed their first child, a son, on Thursday, Jan. 21 in Los Angeles, a source close to Jungwirth confirms to PEOPLE exclusively.
In July, PEOPLE reported that the singer, 24, was expecting his first child with Jungwirth, a Los Angeles-based stylist.
“Louis is happy and very excited about becoming a dad and he thinks Briana will be an amazing mother,” a mutual friend of the two told PEOPLE.
“It was a surprise at first, but he and Briana are very, very close friends and this has brought them even closer.”
