Ariel Winter is proud of her breast reduction surgery scars and had no problem showing them at the SAG Awards on Saturday.
"Guys there is a reason I didn't make an effort to cover up my scars! They are part of me and I'm not ashamed of them at all. :)" the 18-year-old "Modern Family" startweeted after the show.
"Thank you all so much for the support, kind words, and happy birthdays! <3," she added following the greetings she received when she turned 18 last week.
The petite actress, who plays bookworm Alex Dunphy on the award-winning ABC sitcom, went under the knife in June, just a month after she was legally emancipated, to reduce her bust from a 32F to a 34D.
And on Saturday, she proudly walked the red carpet in a black, low-back, sideboob-baring Romona Kaveza gown.
On Tuesday, the "Sofia the First" voice actress followed up her original tweet with a body-positive message.
"Embrace all that you are... Scars & everything. Your imperfections make you perfectly you #loveyourself," she wrote, sharing a quote from designer Marc Jacobs.
Winter, full name Ariel Winter Workman, celebrated the big 1-8 with a Moroccan-themed shindig with 300 people.
"That's insane right?!" she told E! News Brad Goreski on the SAG Awards red carpet. "I'm Greek, so you gotta factor in family members, how many cousins I have, and stuff like that!"
Her "Modern Family" costars also took a break from filming to celebrate Winter's milestone birthday with cake on the set, according to an Instagram post from costar Sofia Vergara.
